To have a hassle-free entry into this magnificent and rewarding country, here’s the detailed information to score a Namibia visa on Indian Passport.

Namibia Tourist Visa Application Form

The application form is available at the official website of The High Commission of the Republic of Namibia that you can download and fill it up with the required details. Then the form needs to be submitted at the embassy of Namibia in New Delhi (Address: B-9/6, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi) on ALL WORKING DAYS (On the website it says just Monday) from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M.

You can collect your visa on ALL WORKING DAYS (On their website it says only Wednesday) of the following week from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. as the whole procedure takes 7 working days (Could take lesser). You must get your visa before 30 days of your departure. Namibia doesn’t offer any e-visa or visa-on-arrival for Indian citizens.

Namibia Tourist Visa Validity & Fee for Indians

For Indian passport holders, the processing fee for Namibia tourist visa is Rs. 2300 for single entry and Rs. 4600 for multiple entries. The transit visa fee costs Rs. 2300 as well. It is payable directly at the embassy in cash. A tourist visa of Namibia is valid for up to three months for both single and multiple entries.

Required Documents for Namibia Visa

Along with the application form, you need to provide the following documents to achieve a Namibia Tourist Visa:

  • Two copies of the filled application form and two recent passport-sized photographs.

  • Passport of every applicant valid for at least 12 months after the date of departure from Namibia.

  • Confirmed Return/Onward Ticket

  • Onward Country Visa, if any.

  • Invitation letter from relatives or friends residing in Namibia along with either proof of Namibian citizenship or a copy of passport including valid permit pages. And if the invitation letter is from any travel agency, you do not need to submit such proof of residency.

  • Confirmation documents of hotel booking for the stay in Namibia.

  • A copy of entire day-to-day travel itinerary.

  • Document exhibiting sufficient fund to support the stay in Namibia in the form of copies of international credit cards/bank statement of three months or dollars endorsed on the passports.

  • Applicants need to submit the Yellow fever certificate ONLY if the journey to the Republic of Namibia involves passing through the yellow fever area of Africa and/or South and Central America by any other means, that by a scheduled air service. It is to be noted, that you DO NOT require Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate for the visa application if you’re travelling to just Namibia in the course of your journey.

  • Two copies of each document
